Storage is always a problem for us digital photographers, here’s how I decided to build my own storage server to replace my unreliable, sluggish and in some cases dead store bought ones.

After yet another hard drive related failure I went out to find a solution to my storage woes and decided to build my own Do It Yourself (DIY) Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) Network Attached Storage (NAS)!

I bought some of Kodak’s new Ektar 100 (ultra fine grain negatives) some time ago to see if I would use it in future to replace the Kodak PortaVC that I usually use for my medium format shots.

It’s been a while since I’ve updated the gallery store. I’ve finally found time to sit down to add a new collection to the list, it’s a compilation of photographs taken in 2009.

After a few days of scanning, editing and adjusting the photographs, I’m finally done with my photographs of Thailand.

It was time for that year end trip again, this time we went to Thailand. Flying into Bangkok, we made out way up to the Central Plains and visited Sukhothai (the capital of ancient Thailand) then up into the far northern highlands of Mae Hong Song.
